Wooo, basically took a leave of absence from this blog for the summer. I was just listening to the LA radio and a bunch of latino music. I love me some Pitbull and Wisin y Yandel, you know? However, I am now ready to slowly return to the warm, fuzzy, highly addictive world of kpop. I was looking through my friend’s posts on facebook the other day and someone put up a post about learning the dance for the song Lucifer (루시퍼) by SHINee (샤이니). I was like, “WOAH! Kpop! I have forgotten and forsaken theee! So sorry sorry” and then I burst out into the good old SJ song. It felt like the good old days. Time to watch a bunch of boys that are my younger brother’s age (1989 and younger) sing and dance!
SHINee put out Lucifer, their second album, on July 19th, and the music video came out a day later. It’s hot. I used to hate it when all the boy bands would be dressed in brightly colored pants (wait…was that only SNSD?), but I’ve gotta say, when it’s only one member in bright red pants, I can handle it.
Recently, I’ve been really enjoying bright, red pants. I have a Chinese friend who wears them. I swear, his hotness ratio triples in the process.
So enjoy the mv:

BoA (보아) totally copied me: she's gone blonde for her Korean comeback MV: "Game" (게임)
SE7EN (세븐) is back with Digital Bounce and an MV for "Better Together" and he's so frickin' HOT!
"You" by Yuya Matsushita (松下優也) makes me wanna dance
I don't think I've ever seen anything like Sound Horizon's (サウンドホライズン) new MV for "Hikari To Yami No Douwa" (光と闇の童話)
I'm liking B2Y's (비투와이) "Be Crazy" 미쳐버리게!
Orange Caramel's (오렌지 캬라멜 ) "Magic Girl" (마법소녀/魔法少女): These girls are so cute and sweet, they're cloying!
D-NA (대국남아) stumbles a bit with their "Stumble Stumble" (비틀비틀) MV
T.O.P. raps it fierce in his new MV for "Turn it Up"
2PM’s 10 out of 10 (10점 만점에 10점) stands the test of time (my concert fancam + official MV)
