SNSD is back with a new single! Oh!

Guess who’s back! SNSD! (소시 짱!) The girls just released the first single from their new album, called “Oh!”

It kind of reminds me of when we had to run around the gym for ages during junior high and we’d listen to that really bad dance music from the early nineties. In a way, it’s sort of like a cross between that and the video game Mario. I keep feeling like I should be chasing giant mushrooms and running after coins.

The lyrics are really inspired. “오빠 오빠 I’ll be I’ll be down down down” ~ Maybe I should go into songwriting…

Wonder Girls may be having some issues lately, but it looks like SNSD might be in for a bigger rough patch…interestingly enough, some netizens are claiming that “Oh!” is too similar to Rihanna’s “Shut up and Drive”:
