HyunA is a solo artist now…

I hope everyone had a great christmas and new years ^^

Over the break, HyunA released her first single as a solo artist. It’s called “Change” and the mv features HyunA dancing around some sort of post-industrial complex, squirming against walls and jumping in the rain, all while wearing remarkably unattractive outfits. I’m sorry, what is up with the like silver, chastity-beltesque boy short-style underwear she pairs with that puffy silver jacket and the overalls and just ugh. ugh. ugh. Don’t even get me started on the white thing. Jun Hyung, from BEAST, joins in, sporting a suit and is his hair really that fluffy????

I’ve gotta admit, I’m not too huge of a fan of the song either. I prefer the balance that 4minute has in their group songs. I hope the members don’t all go their separate ways forever. It’s cool though, do what you all want. If I was in Korea and heard this song blasting from every storefront in Seoul when I walked down the street, I’d probably get used to it.

Some people are raving about the choreography. Sure, yeah, it’s cool, whatever.

Meh, I’m just curmudgeonly and am not feeling the song. Ignore me.

One thing I doooo like is her little star tattoo by her eye! It’s cute!
